Hawn Gallery Exhibit: “Embodied Algorithm: [Re]embracing the Analog”

Opening reception: Friday, Sept. 8, 5-7 p.m

Gallery talk by the artist at 5:45 p.m.

The Hawn Gallery will present a month-long exhibition of new works by Dallas-based artist Ira Greenberg, director of the Center of Creative Computation at SMU Meadows and a professor of computer science and engineering. The show features drawings completed over a two-year period exploring the continuum between computational (digital) and human (analog) implemented algorithms. The ultimate pieces confront viewers with large-scale snapshots of intimate moments between Greenberg’s subjects.
