Ksenia Nosikova

Guest pianist Ksenia Nosikova has been praised for “impressive musicianship” and being “musically very poetic, full of light, warmth and joy” as well as “brilliant, full of grace and the most astonishing precision, refined sensibility and exquisite pianism.” She has performed extensively throughout the world, from New York’s Carnegie Hall to China’s Shanghai City Hall to Chetham’s International Piano Series in England, and has recorded eight critically acclaimed CDs. She has also performed live on radio and television programs from Los Angeles to New York to Zagreb. A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, she is currently professor of piano at the University of Iowa. Her SMU concert will include works by Clementi, Auerbach and Liszt.
