The Pollock Gallery is pleased to present Art of Our Century, an exhibition showcasing art by alumni from the classes of 2000 through 2012. The show, which coincides with SMU's centennial celebrations, features a broad range of creative work by 20 alumni, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography and video.

Art critic and Director of Fort Worth Contemporary Arts Christina Rees curates the exhibition, on view March 4-23, 2013.

Participating artists include:

Susan Barnett, Benjamin Bascombe, Sara Bowen, Mariya Dimov, Susan Edwards, Michael Garguilo, Teresa Gomez Martorell, Joshua Goode, Kyle Hobratschk, Raymond Larrow, Marius Lehene, Shanjana Mahmud, Leeana Morris, Natalie Northrup, Derrick Piens, Kevin Todora, James Tompkins, James Van Arsdale, Sally Warren and Vance Wingate.

The Pollock Gallery is run by the Division of Art in Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. The Pollock plays a significant role in the University’s cultural and academic life and acts as a logical extension of the studio classroom. As such, it provides a place for the thoughtful and scholarly presentation of historical and contemporary artists. Through exhibitions, publications, gallery talks and symposia, the Pollock Gallery plays an active role in the enrichment of life at both the University and in the Dallas community.
