$13 for adults, $10 for seniors, $7 for students, faculty & staff
The evening will feature performances of Stephen Montague’s at the white edge of phrygia for chamber orchestra, Bernard Rands’ Ceremonial, Arthur Sullivan’s Pineapple Poll and works by Holst and Vaughan Williams. But no British Invasion concert would be complete without paying homage to the 1960s phenomenon that swept American music and culture. Baby boomers can relive the days of black and white television and images of the Union Jack with a new arrangement of British Invasion classics, written on commission for the Meadows Wind Ensemble and featuring the music of the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, The Who, the Moody Blues and, of course, the Beatles.
