Award-winning pianist and Johnson-Prothro Artist-in-Residence Lucille Chung performs two masterpieces with the acclaimed Cézanne Quartet, the Meadows School’s Peak Ensemble-in-Residence. The brilliant Mozart Concerto K. 414, usually performed with a large orchestra and winds, will be played in a rare “a quattro” intimate setting. Chung will also be joined by cello professor and international performing artist Andrés Díaz in a selection of short pieces for cello and piano. Rounding out the program is one of the most beloved piano quintets of the chamber music repertoire, the Schumann Piano Quintet, Op. 44.
